Jesus Weekend is a 4-day citywide gathering of churches across Fairfield County featuring worship, prayer, outreach, service projects, speakers, and community events.
At the Fairgrounds
On Friday and Saturday, over 60 resources will be onsite at the Fairgrounds from the city, county, and state – and that number is increasing regularly which already includes:
- Medical screenings, including mammography scans
- Food pantry
- Economic resources
- Eye care
- Dental care
- Family support
There will also be fun, free activities for the whole family, such as:
- Bounce Houses & Inflatables
- Face Painting
- Disc Golf
- Axe Throwing
- Cornhole
- Volleyball
Within the City
Jesus Weekend is collaborating with the City of Lancaster to identify neighborhoods and troubled areas that need attention.
- City-wide trash cleanup
- Neighborhood lawn care & general labor
- Homeless outreach (food, showers, care)
- Business support
- Community engagement

Nightly Gatherings
Nightly gatherings 6PM (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) at the Fairground Grandstands for a gospel presentation, and then a Sunday morning 10AM city-wide service. Come worship with us!

What is Jesus Weekend?
Jesus Weekend is a four-day gathering of churches, ministries, organizations, and community members coming together to worship Jesus, serve our communities, pray for our region, and demonstrate God’s love through action.
Rather than being hosted by a single church, Jesus Weekend brings believers from many congregations together around a shared mission: making Jesus known through unity, worship, service, and outreach.
Who is Jesus Weekend for?
Jesus Weekend is for everyone.
Whether you’re a committed follower of Jesus, exploring faith, returning to church after many years, or simply curious about what Jesus Weekend is all about, you’re welcome.

Is Jesus Weekend free?
Yes. Jesus Weekend is free to attend.
Some activities may require registration for planning purposes, but there is no cost to participate in the event.
Do I need to register?
Some activities, volunteer projects, or special events may require registration so organizers can prepare appropriately.
General attendance is open to everyone and DOES NOT require registration.
Can I attend only one day?
Absolutely.
You’re welcome to attend a single event, one day, or participate throughout the entire weekend.
Can I volunteer?
Yes.
Jesus Weekend includes numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the weekend. Whether you can serve for one hour or multiple days, there is a place for you.
Where do I park? And is it free?
Parking is free at the Fairgrounds. Volunteers and signage will help direct attendees to available parking areas.
Has Jesus Weekend happened before?
Jesus Weekend is launching for the first time in 2026 as a countywide movement designed to unite churches, mobilize volunteers, and create opportunities for people throughout Fairfield County to encounter Jesus through worship, prayer, service, and community.

Will I be pressured to join a church?
No. Jesus Weekend is about creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, build relationships, and serve others. While participating churches would love to connect with attendees, there is no pressure or obligation.

Jesus Weekend is not a denominational event.

What problem is Jesus Weekend trying to solve?
